James had finished packing what he needed and then went downstairs to get in the car next to Dahlia. After getting in the car he put it in drive and then sped off towards the address where Morgan said she was. It didn't take long to get there and once he had, he killed the engine to the car and jogged towards the front door with his bag in hand. James had quickly caught Morgan's scent coming from the bedroom upstairs and then moved up there. After standing in the doorway, he sighed before he moved to kneel down next to Morgan. |
![]() You're the sunlight on my face, and you're the one I can't replace. Everything just seems to fall apart without a trace. I will be, and I will show. Follow me, wherever I go. But that was so long ago, you assume that I've forgotten. But how could I ever forget you, I know, I'm having trouble letting go. Though it was so long ago. I was thinking back today, and I remember everything. Like all the things we used to say. | |

"Oh thank god you're here," Morgan said as a wave of relief came like a tidal wave across her body. Morgan glanced over at Gunner as he lay on the ground and just hissed at Scarlett to stay away when she came near. Scarlett backed off, of course, because she thought it was her fault. After a quick exchange of hello's with Dahlia, Morgan returned her attention to Gunner and James. "He just fell off the bed once he woke up from a black out. Or what seemed like a black out. Do you think he has a concussion?" |

"It would take hitting a Lycan on the head with an anvil to give him a concussion, Morgan." James explained and then glanced at the wound on his head before picking him up and placing him down on the bed. "He should be fine, some pain killers, sleep, and things that won't stress him out will be for the best." James told Morgan and the dug into the bag for his curved needle and black thread. James quickly went to work on stitching Gunner's head back up and then cut the string once he was done. After that, James pulled a blue piece of paper from his bag, wrote some perscriptions on it, signed it and handed it to Morgan. "That should cover the pain and there's some sleeping pills in there. Since we won't get any good results in a few weeks because of the smack to the head bring him to the hospital in a month and a half or so and we can run some tests to see what exactly is making him black out." James continued and then clicked off the pen and shoved it into his pocket, giving Morgan a small smile. |

"Thanks James. You're a lifesaver, as always," Morgan replied as she took the papers from him and placed them on the nightstand next to the bed where Gunner was now laying. Morgan then engulfed her father like figure into a hug and sighed. "You always make things better." With that, Morgan pulled away and led James as well as Dahlia out of the room so Scarlett and Gunner could talk. She would just walk them down to their car and then come back to peak on the fighting lovebirds, just to make sure Scarlett wasn't adding anymore unneeded stress on Gunner. "What happened, Gunner?" Scarlett questioned as she sat down on the edge of the bed next to him. She wasn't sure if he was unconscious or not so she just waited to see if he would respond. Slowly and very reluctantly, Scarlett ran her fingertips through his multicolored hair to soothe him. Even though she was still mad as hell at him, that didn't mean she hated him in any sense. |

Gunner had shifted slightly so that he could turn his head to stare up at Scarlett. His hazel eyes were horrible dimmed and he locked his eyes on her face. "Don't really know," Gunner replied with a raspy voice. "Came home, blacked out on the stairs and then blacked out up here. Next thing I remember was hitting the dresser and then that was it." Gunner explained in a groggy tone. For now his pain overpowered his anger and he looked past the fight he had with scarlett. He just wanted the pain to stop and hoped to God someone would go get his pills soon. |

Scarlett watched as Morgan darted past them to grab the papers. Once she had said she was heading out to fill his prescriptions, Scarlett nodded and slid down into a somewhat laying position so that Gunner could rest his head on her chest. Once they had repositioned themselves, Scarlett gave the scalp of his head a gentle peck. "Do you think it's because you got so angry? I've heard of people blacking out because they got so furious before. Anger blackouts or whatever they're called." |

"I don't think so." Gunner told her as his eyes slowly slipped closed. The pain was starting to numb but he could still feel his head throbbing, like someone had smashed a hammer over it. "It's probably from what I was feeling earlier." Gunner added and yawned quietley, exposing the top and bottom layer of canine teeth that were slightly sharper than all of his other teeth. It was a form of defense if he didn't have time to morph. All Lycans had it. "Maybe in that month and a half we'll find out what exactly is wrong. I feel so much like my father though that it's scary." |

"Well you were sort of an ass and shoved me down to the ground," Scarlett admitted as she pulled the blankets up to their shoulders so Gunner could rest properly. After reaching across him to flip off the small lamp, Scarlett settled down into bed with him. "Which is surprising because everyone knows that I can so take you." Scarlett teased him with the smallest of smiles as she laid her head to rest against his gently. Scarlett couldn't believe she had doubted her love for Gunner, even for the smallest amount of time. |

Gunner chuckled quietly as he slowly draped one of his large, tattooed arms around her and let his hazel eyes slip closed. Gunner had yawned once more and buried his face into her chest a bit more. Gunner was so tired but he knew he couldn't sleep without the perscriptions that his mother was suppose to be bringing back. Gunner had groaned quietly when he shifted slightly and all of his multicolored hair fell into his face. He perferred his hair longer now, it made him different from Maddox and Trenton. |

"She'll be back before long, baby. Don't worry," Scarlett whispered against Gunner's ear as he shifted, trying to get comfortable without the pain. It wasn't long before the both of them had drifted off to sleep, even though Scarlett knew Gunner would be up within no time, due to more pain but she was exhausted. |
